Night sky

To the early night sky, when the silence was not so silent
When the crescent silhouette would speak to me, when the translucent cast would make me believe,
In the tales of true passion, of better lives
When I was the pole star and you were the moonlight
When the raging tides of my imagination would make a way to a comforting shore.
Twinkling stars were our soft blanket, as we lied down, talking of a lost lore.
Now this dusk rests beside your old photograph,
Lullaby to my blessed sleep of our tears and laugh
And this early night sky shall always remain silent,
With your screaming words in my new asylum
